McNeill Communications was founded in 1986 by Karen McNeill, who will join Steinreich Communciations Group as a senior vice president and general manager of the firm's High Point office.
"High Point and its environs represent the base of the U.S. home furnishings industry and we have long sought to have a permanent foothold in this strategic market for our business," said Stan Steinreich, president and CEO of Steinreich Communications Group.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With the deal and the client base that McNeill Communications brings, Steinreich now represents more than 50 top brands in the home furnishings industry.
Among McNeill's client base are the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation, Fine Furniture Design, Durham Furniture, Norwalk Furniture, Bunakara and the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau.
McNeill said the merger results in "even more resources to provide even greater service, opportunity and results for our clients."
The staff of McNeill Communications joins Steinreich with the acquisition. Steinreich has offices in New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt and Tel Aviv.
